🌍 The "Free Ride" Scholarships

These are fully funded (Tuition + Flight + Stay). Extremely competitive.

1. Erasmus Mundus (Europe)

  • What: You study in 2-3 different European countries over 2 years.
  • Benefits: 100% Free + €1000 monthly stipend.
  • Requirement: High CGPA + Work Experience helps.

2. DAAD (Germany)

  • What: The German government pays you to study there.
  • Focus: Strong preference for students with 2 years of work experience.

3. Fulbright-Nehru (USA)

  • What: For Master's in US.
  • Catch: You MUST return to India after graduating. (Not good if you want to settle in US).

🇮🇳 Indian Trusts (Loan Scholarships)

They give you an interest-free loan (you pay back only the principal amount).

4. JN Tata Endowment

  • Amount: ₹1 Lakh to ₹10 Lakh.
  • Process: Online Application -> Test -> Interview.

5. KC Mahindra

  • Amount: Up to ₹10 Lakh (Interest-free loan).

🏫 University Specific (The Most Common)

Most universities give "entrance scholarships" automatically based on your profile. * Merit Scholarship: $2,000 - $10,000 discount on tuition. * TA/RA (Teaching/Research Assistant): You work for a professor ~20 hours/week. * Benefit: Often waives your ENTIRE tuition fee + gives a monthly salary. * How: Email professors before you join.
